White Pomegranate Tea 1 Oz
White tea comes from the same plant that produces all the other teas too --green, black and oolong. What makes any of these teas what they are is the type of processing that the leaves are subjected to at harvest. White tea leaves have the least amount of processing --they are picked young, while the leaves still have silver hairs to them, and gently withered and dried. The result is a frosted-emerald twirt of flavor that is mellow and delicate, slightly floral. This blends quite well with flowers, berries, and other lightly sweet herbal additions. Here the flavor is pomegranate. We add hibiscus, rose hips, and safflower threads, and this white tea screams JOY into the afternoon sunshine.
