Peppercorns, Pink (Whole)
Contrary to what their name might imply, pink peppercorns aren't *actually* a peppercorn. In reality, they are dried berries from a tree. Brazilian pepper trees and Peruvian pepper trees both produce these berries, but aren't related to the plants that make black pepper at all. The only reason that they're named peppercorn is because they are similar to peppercorns in shape and flavor. In addition to having a peppery bite, they are slightly sweet, with a bright, fruity taste that makes them a great addition to butter-based sauces, salads, seafoods, dressings, and poultry dishes. And, their PINK!
