Ceylon Orange Pekoe Black Tea 1 Oz

Ceylon teas are made from the dried leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, traditionally grown in Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon.) The name "Orange Pekoe" can often cause people confusion. This is not an orange-flavored or colored tea. Rather, the "Orange Pekoe" designation is part of a grading system for teas, and indicates that the tea leaves are whole --of better quality than the fragments and dust that are often destined for tea bags. This Ceylon Orange Pekoe is thus a strong black loose-leaf tea that should have its photo in the dictionary next to "Tea (n.)" This is the good stuff.
